Art Hotel Gran Paradiso has been developing for a long time a policy of respect and safeguard of both the internal and external environment. In fact the touristic firm has a strong concern for the environmental defence,not only for economic target.
The hotel is profoundly aware that the development of our society must be sustainable and compatible with our environment; for this reason it is oriented towards a continuous improvement of activities and services,managing to keep,at the same time,the right balance between social,economic and environmental responsabilities.
Art Hotel Gran Paradiso is strongly committed to respect the national,regional and environmental laws in force and it periodically cheks its own compliance to these rules through a continuous up-to-date with trustful sources such as institutions associations of category,consultants and professionals of the environmental sector.
The Hotel considers the Security,Health and environment,priorities of the entire organisation.
For this reason the Direction every year defines macro-targets of improvement concerning the redaction of energy and of water consumption as well as an adequate (eco-compatible) management of waste (recycling).
These macro-targets are shown to the entire organisation,discussed,made of common interest,and if they are reached,a possibility of a further restriction is considered.
Defining the macro-targets is the final result of the initial environmental analysis: as regards the general environmental policy the touristic firm “Art Hotel Gran Paradiso”:

-Has always bought its goods in its country,being committed at the same time to reduce pollution,limiting the way of transports of its goods.
-Will commit itself to adopt the appropriate initiatives in order to minimize the impact of its processes in the environment,to not cause conditions of risk for its operators,suppliers and customers’health.
-Will carry out an appropriate training for all his employees to improve the individual productivity and to encourage any initiative concerning the protection of the environment.
-The customers will be informed on the initiatives to take such as the ricicling after the use of the products.
-Will carry out an overall analysis of the energy and of all the materials that can be important for the environment,to improve constantly.

All the  initiatives  which are able to keep the natural resources,renovable or not,will be considered.
Then the supplier’s involvement is another aspect for our environment’s respect,as the suppliers contribute to generate some important environmental aspect.
New targets of improvement related to our environment audits,if necessary it will be corrected and communicate to the employees.
Art Hotel Gran Paradiso wants to spread his initiatives in the environmental sector,communicating his environmental Policy to Sorrento town council where its activities take place.
The above commitments concernig Health,Security and Environment are priorities in the activities of the hotel.
